Setting up People Profiles for your Gather Workspace will introduce several key changes, including:
Project Settings Changes
You will no longer have a ‘Labour Resources’ tab in your project settings, you will now have a ‘People Settings’ tab in your workspace settings. Here you will be able to edit datasources for Role Type, Supplier and Attributes.
To add Roles to People Profiles that are project specific, select the relevant project from the 'Applicable Projects' column for that Role in the desired People Profile.
Workspace Settings Changes
Instead of having a ‘Labour Resources’ tab in your Workspace Settings, you will now have a ‘People Settings’ tab.
Here, Workspace Administrators are able to set or edit the following fields: Role Type, Supplier and Attributes.
Shift Planner Changes
When filling out the ‘People’ section of the “Resource Information” step in Shift Planner, you will be asked to select a “Name” from a dropdown, which, after selected, will automatically pull in the details associated with the People Profile under that name.
After selecting the correct profile name, the Roles associated with that person will automatically appear in the “Role” dropdown, along with the relevant Supplier.
You will also no longer be able to use the pasting function in under the 'People' section of Shift Planner.

Shift Record Changes
When filling out the ‘People’ section of the “Resource Information” step of your Shift Record, you will be asked to select a “Name” from a dropdown, which, after selected, will automatically pull in the details associated with the People Profile under that name.
After selecting the correct profile name, the Roles associated with that person will automatically appear in the “Role” dropdown, along with the relevant Supplier.
Fatigue Management Changes
Fatigue References will be replaced by system-generated Resource IDs attached to the People Profile.
The introduction of a system-generated Resource ID will remove the Fatigue Reference from the Shift Planner and Shift Record.
You will have the ability to choose if a People Profile tracks Fatigue or not by selecting this as an option in the People Profile.
