This guide will show you how to create a Google Account on your Android mobile or desktop, which is necessary to download the Gather Mobile App from the Google Play Store.
Creating a Google Account
On your Android Mobile:
Open the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap on Accounts.
Select Add Account.
Choose Google.
Tap on Create account.
Filling Out the Account Info:
Enter your desired name and tap Next.
Provide your birthday (you must be 13 or older) and tap Next.
Select your gender and tap Next.
Choose a username, which will also be your Gmail address. Tap Next.
Create a strong password and re-enter it for confirmation. Tap Next.
Optionally, add a phone number for verification and security purposes. You can skip this step if preferred.
Review Google's Terms of Service and tap I agree.
Your account details will be displayed. Tap Next to exit the setup.
Congratulations! Your Google Account is now ready to use. You can access the Google Play Store and download the Gather Mobile App.
