Using Shift Planner for Fatigue Management

Proactive Fatigue Risk Management with Shift Planner

Proactive fatigue management is crucial, and Gather's Shift Planner empowers teams to:

  • Gain insights and receive alerts for each shift.

  • Mitigate fatigue risks by proactively assigning risk assessments to individual workers.

Step by step instructions:

Shift Creation Screen:

  • This screen allows creation of up to 50 Shift Records.

  • All fields are mandatory (although specific requirements may vary based on company configuration).

Adding People Resources:

  1. Select a shift and add the required People Profile.

  2. The fatigue calculation automatically updates for each new person.

  3. Review the Exceedance column to identify potential issues.

Fatigue Assessments and Exceedances:

  • When planning shifts with Exceedances, it's recommended to add a Fatigue Assessment.

    • These assessments are mandatory on the Shift Record and trigger authorization emails upon completion.

  • Shifts can still be created with Exceedances, but a warning will be displayed.
